World Cup fans unearth tweet sent to James Rodriguez by Robert Lewandowski after Poland exit
Football fans have brutally reminded Robert Lewandowski of a tweet he sent to his Bayern Munich team-mate James Rodriguez in December of last year about the upcoming World Cup.
Poland were dumped out of the World Cup by Colombia on Sunday thanks to a 3-0 defeat and a spectacular performance from Rodriguez.
Lewandowskis side were crushed by Colombia over the 90 minutes and Rodriguez set up two of their goals with two superb crosses.

Rodriguez has reproduced the form he showed in the 2014 World Cup in Brazil, but Lewandowski has once again failed to show his best form for his country at a major tournament.

And with Lewandowski and his team-mates hurting, ruthless World Cup fans have unearthed an old tweet the Poland captain sent to Rodriguez last year.
It said: Hola mi Hermano James Rodriguez, I remember your great goals during the last World Cup. I hope you will remember mine from Russia
Lewandowski might cringe when he sees that tweet again, but there was no ill feeling between him and Rodriguez as Colombias talisman embraced a gutted Lewandowski at full-time.
Colombias win resurrects their World Cup campaign after defeat in their opener against Japan threatened an early exit.
The South Americans go into the final game knowing a win against Senegal will book them a place in the last 16.
