The final of the super middleweight World Boxing Super Series finally takes place on Friday evening as George Groves and Callum Smith battle it out in Saudi Arabia.

It has been a long road to this point for both men, with the eight-man tournament starting over a year ago and the final being heavily delayed due to an injury suffered by Groves in his semi-final.

But thankfully, the two semi-final winners have made it to the showpiece, although it is unfortunate that the all-British affair is in Jeddah rather than England.

Nevertheless, it is set to be a fascinating contest with the WBA and WBC Diamond belts on the line, as well as the giant Muhammad Ali Trophy.

When is George Groves vs Callum Smith?

The fight takes place on Friday, 28 September at the King Abdullah Sports City in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.

The fight is due to start at 9pm BST, a little earlier than main events in the UK due to the time difference.

What TV channel is Groves vs Smith on and is there a live stream?

ITV Box Office is showing the fight live, which will set you back £16.95.

Coverage starts at 6pm on Friday and you can order it as a Sky or Virgin customer, or watch a stream online with TV Player.
