Cesc Fabregas misses penalty on Chelsea farewell ahead of Monaco transfer
Cesc Fabregass Chelsea farewell script didnt go quite to plan on Saturday after he missed a first half penalty.
The former Arsenal captain, who has won two Premier League titles and an FA Cup following his move to Stamford Bridge in 2014, is set to complete a transfer to Monaco to work under his former Gunners teammate Thierry Henry.
Fabregas wore the captains armband as Maurizio Sarri fielded a much-changed line-up for the visit of Nottingham Forest in the third round of the FA Cup.

With first choice penalty taker Eden Hazard on the bench, Fabregas accepted the responsibility but his stuttering run-up failed to fool Forest goalkeeper Luke Steele, who plunged to his right to turn the ball behind for a corner.
Hazard, meanwhile, was introduced to the fray six minutes later after Loftus-Cheek suffered an injury.
